Introduction
Homemade candles are an artistry that cannot be duplicated exactly or identically from batch to batch. Slight variations in color intensity are part of the beauty and nature of "handmade products". All handmade candles are sensitive to extremes in heat and cold. Do not leave your candles stored or displayed in hot, sunny or cold locations. This can cause candles (in humid conditions) to melt and (in cold conditions) to crack.
Minimum purchase requirement
We require $400.00 minimum purchase for the first order and $300.00 minimum purchase thereafter with a specific per product order minimum located on the wholesale order form. Private label products are not to be purchased for personal or gift giving use. Your company information must be on file prior to initial purchase or your purchase will be denied.
We strongly suggest purchasing a Wholesale Sampler Pack via our retail website prior to placing your initial order. The wholesale sampler includes 5 full sized best selling products for one low price.
Payments
Full payment is required to start the production of your order. Once your order is ready for shipment, you will be chared the remainder. Payments are accepted via Paypal or Money order only.
Returns/damaged goods
We will not under any circumstances issue store credits or refunds on products that are not physically damaged. All cartons must be opened upon receipt. Damaged items or shortages must be reported to EB Candles either by email or by telephone within 2 days of product receipt. Returns must be mailed within 5 days after initial contact with EB Candles. All cartons and interior packaging must be kept. Failure to do so may result in voiding of your claim. Product must be returned for verification and customer is responsible for costs incurred during shipping including insurance. Replacement products will be in the same scent and color as original order. Remember that not everyone likes a particular scent. We recommend you purchase a sample in a particular scent to test them. Bath and body products are not returnable due to sanitary reasons.
Custom formulas
EB Candles would be happy to produce a formula exclusively for your company. Each exclusive custom blend formula begins at $200.00. Two eight ounce samples will be mailed free of charge for each custom blend formula purchased. Once the formula has been approved by your company, there will be a 12 piece minimum purchase each time that custom blend formula is ordered. Exclusive custom blend formulas are non-refundable and must be paid for in advance.
Additions/subtractions/cancellations
Additions andor subtractions from your order must be made within 24 hours of initial order. You may cancel your order within 24 hours. After 24 hours, there will be a 20% re-stock fee charged to your account. All cancellations must be made in writing (fax or email).
Labels/samples
There shall be no modifications made to the product label. We offer testers at the wholesale rate of one full sized product of your choice. We will supply the “tester” label for you. All private labels will read “Made exclusively for XYZ company by EB Candles, Yorkville Illinois” unless otherwise noted and agreed upon. If you have your own labels, we can add those labels to the product free of charge. Your labels must be in compliance with current and ongoing regulations in advance. We ask that you email us the proofs of each label before you have them printed. We are happy to review the labels for you but you are ultimately responsible for meeting all federal, state and local requirements on your labels.
Production time
Our normal private label production time is 10 business days after your order is placed. Please be aware of our busy season which begins in September and ends at the end of December. During this time, production times may be increased by as much as 4 weeks so please plan your orders accordingly. Custom blend formula orders can take up to 8 weeks in production time.
Shipments/deliveries
All orders will be shipped either by Federal Express (FedEx) ground service or United States Postal Service (USPS) at the sole discretion of EB Candles. Hand deliveries are available for $10.00 per delivery within a 10 mile radius of Yorkville, Illinois. Pick-ups are more than welcome during normal business hours. Please phone ahead for pick up times/locations.
